 \huge \bold \color{green}{ \underline{ \underline \red{required \: answer:- }}}

 \bold{ \underline{ \underline{formulae  }}}:-

 \bold \color{orange}profit = sp - cp

 \bold \color{orange}loss = cp - sp

 \bold \color{orange}profit \: \% = 100 \times \frac{profit}{cp}

 \bold \color{orange}loss \: \% = 100 \times \frac{loss}{cp}

 \bold{ \underline{ \underline{answers }}}:-

  1. 8.3% profit
  2. 20% loss
  3. 4.16% profit
  4. 16.6% profit

  \bold{ \underline{ \underline{solution }}}:-

  \bold \color{blue}{i)cp = 600 \: and \: sp = 650}

here sp is greater then cp;

  \bold{ \: profit = 650 - 600} \\  \bold{ \implies \: profit = 50 \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  } \\

then..

 \bold{profit\% = 100 \times \frac{profit}{cp} } \\ \\   \bold{profit\% = 100 \times \frac{50}{600} \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  } \\  \\  \bold{  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  = 8. \bar3\%}

 \bold \color{blue}ii) \: cp = 3.50 \: and \: sp = 2.80

here cp is greater than sp;

 \bold{loss = \: 3.50 - 2.80} \\   \bold{ \implies \: loss \:  = 0.7 \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \: }

then,

 \bold{loss\% = 100 \times \frac{loss}{cp} } \\   \\  \bold{loss\% = 100 \times \frac{0.7}{3.50} } \\  \\  \bold{ = 20\%}

 \bold \color{blue}iii) \: cp = 400 + 80 \: and \: sp = 500

here cp is greater than sp;

 \bold{profit = 500 - (400 + 80)} \\   \bold{\implies \: profit = 20 \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  }

then,

 \bold{profit\% = 100 \times \frac{profit}{cp} } \\ \\    \bold{profit \% = 100 \times \frac{20}{480}   \:  \:  \:  \: } \\  \\  \bold{  \:  \:  \:  \:  \: = 4.1 \bar6\%}

 \bold \color{blue}iv) \: cp = 21000  \: and \: sp = 24500

here sp is greater than cp;

 \bold{profit = 24500 - 21000} \\  \bold{ \implies \: profit = 3500 \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \: }

then,

 \bold{profit\% = 100 \times \frac{profit}{cp} } \\   \\  \bold{profit\% = 100 \times \frac{3500}{21000} } \\  \\   \bold{  \:  \:  \:  \: = 16. \bar6\%}
