Find the perimeter and area of the following squares, the of whose sides are :

( i ) 22cm

( ii ) 35.5cm

( iii ) 12m 4cm

 \\

 \\

\huge{\boxed{\textsf{\textbf{\color{lime}{AnsWers:-}}}}}

( i ) Side = 22cm

Perimeter of a square = 4 × Side

==> 4 × ( 22cm )

==> 88cm

Area of a square = Side × Side

==> ( 22cm ) × ( 22cm )

==> 484cm²

 \\

( ii ) Side = 35.5cm

Perimeter of a square = 4 × Side

==> 4 × ( 35.5cm )

==> 142cm

Area of a square = Side × Side

==> ( 35.5cm ) × ( 35.5cm )

==> 1,260.25cm²

 \\

( iii ) 12m 4cm

1m = 100cm

==> 12m + 0.04m

==> 12.04m

Perimeter of a square = 4 × Side

==> 4 × ( 12.04m )

==> 48.16m

Area of a square = Side × Side

==> ( 12.04m ) × ( 12.04m )

==> 144.9616m²
