7. How many pars each holding 1.75 kg of jam can be filled from a vessel containing 100 kg of jam, and
how much remains ?​

Given that :-

⇒ Quantity of jam pars hold = 1.75 kg

To find :-

⇒ No. of vessel of 100 g required to fill 1.75 kg.

______________________________

Solution :-

⇒ Convert 1.75 kg into grams then divide it by 100, the remainder tells us how much remains in the pars.

______________________________

Required :-

1.75 kg = 1750

⇒ 1750 ÷ 100

Quotient = 17 ; Remainder = 50

______________________________

Answer :-

⇒ 17 vessels are needed to fill 1.75 of jam, 50 g of jam lefts.
