Let : Required 2 digit number be (10x+y)
Given : diffence between 2 digit number and number obtained by reversing digit = 36
To find : x - y
Solution :
Required number = 10x + y
Number obtained by reversing digit = 10y + x
given
=> (10x+y) - (10y+x) = 36
=> 10x + y - 10y - x = 36
=> 9x - 9y = 36
=> 9(x-y) = 36
=> (x-y) = 36/9
=> (x-y) = 4
ANSWER : Difference between digits of 2digit number = (x-y) = 36
