Answer:

(d) 80 km/h

Step-by-step explanation:

Given,

Prabhat covers a distance in  40 min, if he drives at a speed of  60 km/h on an average.

Distance=Speed*Time

Distance=60*40 mins

Find the  speed at which he must drive at  to reduce the time of the journey

by 25%.

time reduced by 25%

25%of 40 min=10 mins

remaining time is 40-10=30 mins

let speed is x

if the distance is same then,

60*40=30*x

x=80 km/hr
