a₇ = 40

a₁₀ = 60

a₁₃ = ?

a₇ = a+6d = 40      -------(1)

a₁₀ = a+9d = 60    -------(2)

(2) - (1) => a+9d-a-6d = 60-40

                  3d = 20

                    d = 20/3

a+6d = 40

a = 40 - 6*20/3

a = 40 - 40

a = 0

Therefore,

a₁₃ = a+12d

     = 0+12*20/3

     = 80
