Answer:

• Length if diagonal = 30 cm

• Length of perpendicular = 8 cm and 10 cm .

area of quadrilateral

1 / 2 * length of diagonal ( sum of perpendiculars )

= 1 / 2 * 30 * ( 8 + 10 )

= 15 * 18

= 270 cm²

Answer :

  • Area of Quadrilateral is 270cm².

Given :

  • The diagonal of a quadrilateral is 30 cm in length and the lengths of perpendiculars to it from the opposite vertices are 8 cm and 10 cm

To find :

  • The area of the quadrilateral.

Solution :

Given,

  • Length of Diagonal is 30cm
  • Length of perpendicular is 8cm and 10cm

We knkw that

  • Area of Quadrilateral = ½ × Length of Diagonal (Sum of perpendicular)

Substituting the value :

↬ Area of Quadrilateral = ½ × 30 × (8 + 10)

↬ Area of Quadrilateral = 15 × (8 + 10)

↬ Area of Quadrilateral = 15 × 18

↬ Area of Quadrilateral = 270cm²

Hence,

Area of Quadrilateral is 270cm².
