7. The mean of 15 observations is 32. Find the
resulting mean, if each observation is :

32= sum of observation/ 15

sum of observation= 32x15= 480

no. of observation is 15, then

15x3=45

480+45=525

So, new mean is = 525/15= 35

In decreased by 7,

Then if we decrease every observation by 7, so

no. of observation is 15, then

15x7=105

Now, we will subtract 105 from sum of observation,

480 - 105=375
