let the number be x. then it's reciprocal would be 1/x.

ATQ,

7/x+2/3=3

=: 7/x=3-(2/3)

=:7/x = 9-2/3

=:7/x = 7/3

by cross multiplication,

7×3 = 7x

=: x = 7×3/7

=3

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the no. =X

It's reciprocal=1\x

7/x+2/3=3

7/x=3-2/3

7/x=9-2/3

7/x=7/3

1/x=7/3*1/7

1/x=1/3

Solving in the above equation

7x+2/3=3

7/3+2/3=9/3=3
