you see that C(CH3) but the single C has a also a substituent CH3. I can't write there but you put the methyl in single C and then write the name

the IUPAC name of the given compound is 3,3dimethyl pentane as per ur question (if there are two methyl groups attached to the C atom that is the 3rd carbon atom in the long chain)
