7 x+ 5y = - 23 ........(i)\\ 7x + 2y = 20.....(ii) \\ now \: equating \: equations \: and \: change \: the \: sign. \: \\after \: equating \: we \: get, \: \\ 3y = - 43 \\ y = - \frac{43}{3} \\ now \: we \: put \: the \: value \: of \: in \: euation \: (i) \\ 7x + 5y = - 23 \\ 7x + 5 \times ( - \frac{43}{3} ) = - 23 \\ 7x - \frac{215}{3} = - 23 \\ 7x = - 23 + \frac{215}{3} \\ 7x = \frac{ - 69 + 215}{3} \\ 7x = \frac{146}{3} \\ x = \frac{146}{3} \times 7 \\ x = \frac{1022}{3} \\ hence \: (x = \frac{1022}{3} ) \: \: (y = - \frac{43}{3} ) \: \: \: answer \\ \\ \\ i \: hope \: that \: will \: help \: you \:
