Hi there!

SOLUTION :-

 \sf\red{\dfrac{7}{y}  + 1 = 29}

\sf\blue{ \dfrac{7}{y}  = 29 - 1}

\sf\green{ \dfrac{7}{y}  = 28}

\sf\purple{28y = 7}

\sf\gray{y =  \dfrac{7}{28}  = \dfrac{1}{4} }

CHECK :-

{\tt{\red\bigstar \: {\red{Given=> }}}}

 {\tt\blue{\bigstar \: {\dfrac{7}{y}  + 1 = 29}}}

Multiplying by y we get,

{\tt{\green{\bigstar \: {7 + y = 29y}}}}

{\tt{\orange{\bigstar \: {7 = 29y  -y}}}}

{\tt{\pink{\bigstar \: {7 = 28y}}}}

☑ Therefore

 {\tt{\purple{\bigstar \: {\dfrac{1}{4} = y}}}}

☑ Checking.

{\tt{\red{\bigstar \: {7\dfrac{1}{4}  + 1}}}}

{\tt{\blue{\bigstar \: {7 \times 4 + 1}}}}

{\tt{\orange{\bigstar \: {28 + 1}}}}

{\tt{\purple{\bigstar \: {29}}}}
