Cost of fencing the playground is Rs. 360.

• Given,

Total cost of levelling the playground = Rs. 7000

Cost of levelling per sqaure mere = Rs. 5

∴  Area of the ground = Total cost / Cost per m²

=> Area of the ground = Rs. 7000 / Rs. 5 = Rs. 1400 m²

Breadth of the playground = 20 m

Area of the playground = length × breadth

=> Breadth = Area / breadth

=> Breadth = 1400 m² / 20 m

Or, length = 70 m

∴ Perimeter = 2 (20 m + 70 m)

Perimeter = 2 × 90 m = 180 m

• Cost of fencing per metre of the playground = Rs. 2
