71. In a square PQRS, PQ = (5a - 17) cm and QR = (2a + 4). Find the length of PS and PR.​

Answer:

5a-17 = 2a +4 (sides of square)

5a - 2a = 4 + 17

3a = 21

a = 7

side PQ = 5(7) - 17

= 35- 17

=18 cm

since, PQRS is square

therefore , PQ = QR = RS = SP

PS =PR= 18 cm
