Solution :-

Let both fill in the blanks are filled by x .

So,

→ 714 divided by 17 = (x divided by 17) + (x dived by 17)

→ (714 ÷ 17) = (x ÷ 17) + (x ÷ 17)

→ (714/17) = (x/17) + (x/17)

→ (714/17) = (x + x)/17

→ (714/17) = (2x/17)

cancel out both numerator,

→ 2x = 714

divide both sides by 2,

→ x = 357 (Ans.)

Verification :-

→ (714 ÷ 17) = (x ÷ 17) + (x ÷ 17)

→ 42 = 21 + 21

→ 42 = 42

GIVEN:-714 divided by 17 = (blank divided by 17) + (blank dived by 17).

SOLUTION:-

According to question .

714 ÷ 17 = ( x ÷ 17 ) + ( x ÷ 17 )

{where, x = blank)

714/17 =( x/17) + ( x/17)

714/17 = 2x/17

by cross multiplication, we get

x = 714/2

x = 357.

Therefore,

Therefore, 714 divided by 17 = (357 divided by 17) + (357 dived by 17).
