if 75% not visited the picnic then it must be 25% of students who visited the picnic
then, let total no. of students be "k"
so,
$25\% \: of \: k = 750 \\ \frac{25}{100} \times k = 750 \\ \frac{1}{4} \times k = 750 \\ k = 3000$

therefore the no. of students be 3000
