(7a + 4)(7a + 3) \\ = 7a(7a + 4) + 3(7a + 4) \\ = 49 {a}^{2} + 28a + 21a + 12 \\ = 49 {a}^{2} + 49a + 12

Hey there!

(7a+4)(7a+3)

= (7a)² + ( 4 + 3 ) 7a + 4 * 3

= 49a² + 7* 7a + 12

= 49a² + 49a + 12

Here, We have used simplification using identities.

( x - a) ( x - b)

= x ( x - b ) - a ( x - b)

= x² -ax -bx + ab

= x² - (a + b) x + ab.

That is, ( x - a) ( x - b) = x² - (a + b) x + ab.

Hope helped
