3x - 10y = 11

7x - 2y = -17

Multiply bottom equation by -5 so that the Y value cancels out.

3x - 10y = 11

-35x + 10y = 85

-32x = 96

x = - (96/32)

x = -3

Substitute x back into one of the equations

3(-3) - 10y = 11

-9 -10y = 11

-10y = 20

y = - (20/10)

y = -2

Therefore x=-3 and y=-2

hope it's helpful market brainliest answer and follow me give me five stars and a thanks thank you for asking this wonderful question may god bless you

Answer:

Question is 7x-10y =2

x+2y = 3

solution : By elimination method

Multiply equation (ii) by 7,

so we get

7x-10y= 2. (subtract eq. i from ii )

7x+14y=21

- - - (sign changed)

_________

-24y = -19

__________

y=19/24

putiing the value of y in eq. ii

x+2×19/24= 3

x+38/24=3

24x+38/24=3

24x+38=72

24x=72-38 =34

x=34/24

x=17/ 12. is the final answer

hope it's helpful for u

thank you
