7x^2-12x+5=0

a=7
b=. -12
c=5

so , x= √(b^2-4ac)/2a.
= √(-12^2-4×7×5)/2×7.
= √(144-140)/14
=√4/14
=2/14
1/7 is the answer

7x²-12x+5=0

D= b²-4ac = (12)² - 4(7)(5)

  =144 - 4(35) = 144-140 =4

x = -b± √d/2a

  =12±√4 / 12(7)

 = 12±2 /14

⇒x=12+2/14 =14/14

  x=1

⇒x =12-2/14 =10/14

 x=5/7

∴ the roots are 1 and 5/7.
