Heya !!

Prime factorisation of 8 = 2 × 2 × 2

Prime factorisation of 25 = 5 × 5

HCF of 8 and 25 = 1

And,

LCM of 8 and 25 = 2 × 2 × 2 × 5 × 5 = 200.

As we know that,

One number × Other Number = HCF × LCM

8 × 25 = 1 × 200

200 = 200.

Let a = 8 , b = 25

Finding LCM:

LCM ( 8 , 25 ) = 8 × 25 = 200

Finding HCF :

8 = 2 × 2 × 2

25 = 5 × 5

HCF( 8 , 25 ) = 1

a × b = 8 × 25 = 200

LCM × HCF = 200 × 1

Therefore,

a × b = LCM( a , b ) × HCF ( a , b )
