Total no of men = 64,019 
Total no of men left out after forming the square = 10
No. of men left = 
64,019 - 10
                        = 64009
The total no of men in the 1st row = 
√64,019 
                                                       = √253 * 253
                                                       = 253.
Therefore, total no of men in the 1st row = 253
