Explanation: Original length of wire = 1.000 m

Extension with a force of 2N=4mm                                                                                          Extension with a force of 3N = 6mm                                                                                 Total extension = 4 + 6 = 10 mm or 10/1000 = 0.010 m                                                Hence the total of wire = 1.000 + 0.010 = 1.010
