To find :

Displacement of the person at the end of 3 minutes

3 Minutes = 180 seconds

1 round = 180/40 = 4.5 rounds

At 4.5 rounds the person will come to a point where the Displacement will be equal to the Hypotenuse of the right angled triangle

10²+10²=Hypotenuse²

100+100 = Hypotenuse²

200 = Hypotenuse²

14.14 metres
