beginning in 15 August 2018, serve flood affected the south india state of kerala ,due to unusually heavy rainfall during the monsoon season . It was the worst flooding in Kerala in nearly a centuary. Over 483 people died , 14 are missing. At least a million people evacuated mainly from chengannur, pandanad,ranniand pandalamand few place in vypin island. It was the worst flood in Kerala after the great flood of 99 in 1924
