Answer:

2000 tiles

₹10000

Step-by-step explanation:

Length and Breadth of room = 500cm , 400cm

Area of room = L×B

= 500 × 400

= 2,00,000cm²

Area of square tiles = 10×10

= 100cm²

No. of tiles required = 20000/100

= 200 tiles per cm

Cost of tiles = 2000×5

= ₹10000

Answer:

Length of rectangular floor of room= 5m

breadth of rectangular floor= 4m

∴Area of rectangular floor = length*

breadth

= 5*4

= 20 m²

Side of Square tile= 10cm

Now we need to convert Side of Square tile in meters= 10/100=0.1m

Area of square tile = side²

= 0.1²

=0.01 m²

Now

number of tiles required to cover the floor =(ar of floor of room)/(ar of 1 tile)

= 20/0.01

=2000

number of tiles required =2000tiles

Now cost of 1tile=Rs 5

total cost = 5*2000

Total cost =Rs 10,000
