area of parallelogram by taking CF as base and BC as altitude

area of parallelogram = base ×height

=21*14

=294cm²

given,

CF =9cm

i.e. CF is the height of the parallelogram, taking AB as an altitude

let AB be x

therefore

x*9=294

x=294/9

x=98/3 or 32⅔
