8)On a certain sum the interest paid after 3 years is Rs. 1728 at 8% p.a. Find the sum.​

Solution :

✬ As in the question Simple interest is given Rs. 1728 , Rate is given 8% and time is 3 years. We have to find the sum that is also the Principal. We know that formula of Simple Interest is P × R × T/100. By Putting the values in this Formula we will get the required sum.

S.I = P × R × T/100

Where,

• ⇝ Time (t) = 3 years

• ⇝ Rate (r) = 8%

• ⇝ S.I = Rs.1728

⟶ 1728 = P × 8 × 3/100

⟶ 1728 × 100 = P × 8 × 3

⟶ 172800 = P × 24

⟶ P = 24/172800

⟶ P = 7200
