Hence , if one side is 8 cm , the remaining two will also be equal.

Area of equilateral triangle = √3/4 a²

a = 8 cm

Δ = √3 / 4 × 64

   =16√3

height = ?

area of triangle = 1/2×b×h

Δ=1/2×8×h

Δ=16√3

16√3=1/2×8×h

4h = 16√3

h = 16√3/4

  =4√3 cm
