Answer:

60 Rs.

Explanation:

Ram sells his goods 25% cheaper than Shyam and 25% dearer than Bram. How much percentage is Bram's goods cheaper than Shyam's?

Free ICICIdirect demat & trading account.

Assume Shyam sells his goods for 100 Rs.

Ram sells his goods 25 cheaper than Shyam, so 100−25/100∗100=75 Rs .

Ram sells his goods 25 dearer than Bram, for 75Rs.

Assume Bram sells his goods at X Rs. So X + 25/100∗X=75.

X+0.25X=75

1.25X=75

X=75/1.25=60.

Bram sells his goods for 60 Rs.

Shyam sells his for 100 and Bram for 60. Because 100 is used, you can easily tell Bram sells his goods 40 cheaper than Shyam’s. [100–40/100*100 = 60]
