8) The radius of a circular field is 42m. i) Find the perimeter of the field. ii) Find the length of wire required to fence it with 5 rounds.

Given ,

The radius of a circular field , r = 42 m

We need to find the perimeter of this circular field as well as length of wire required to fence it with 5 rounds.

i) Perimeter :

We know that perimeter of the circle = 2πr

⇒ Perimeter = 2 * π * 42

⇒ Perimeter = 84π m

Perimeter = 264 m

ii) The length of wire required to fence it with 5 rounds :

This is nothing but 5 times the perimeter .

⇒ 5 * Perimeter

⇒ 5 * 264

1320

So the length of the wire required to fence with 5 rounds is 1320 m
