TO FIND:

What is the weight of copper in it?

SOLUTION:

Let the weight of copper in it be x

9:5 = 95:x

FORMULA TO FIND:

product of means = product of extremes.

SOLVING BY APPLYING THE FORMULA:

  \rightarrow\sf \: 5 \times 95 = 9 \times x

\rightarrow\sf \: x =  \dfrac{5 \times 95}{9}

\rightarrow\sf \: x =  \dfrac{475}{9}

\rightarrow\sf \: x =  52.77...grams

Hence , The weight of copper in it is 52.77 grams.
