8. There are 7 ripe mangoes and 3 raw mangoes in a basket . Another basket contains

10 ripe mangoes and 4 raw mangoes.

a) Which basket is more preferable to get a ripe mango ?

b) If we take a mango from each basket , what will be the probability of getting

two raw mangoes?

c) If we take one mango from each basket, what will be the probability of getting

at least one raw mango?

▪︎ Basket 2 contains 10 ripe and 4 raw mangoes.

$= \frac{7}{10} \\ \\ = 0.70$

☆ Clearly we can see that basket 2 is more preferable.
