  • Solve the given equation and find the value of x.

\star\:\:\:\bf\large\underline\blue{Solution:-}

 \sf {8}^{x}  -  {8}^{x - 1}  = 56

 \sf \implies {8}^{x}  -  {8}^{x}  \times  {8}^{ - 1}  =  56

 \sf \implies {8}^{x} (1 -  {8}^{ - 1} ) = 56

 \sf \implies {8}^{x} (1 -  \frac{1}{8}  ) = 56

 \sf \implies {8}^{x} ( \frac{7}{8}  ) = 56

 \sf \implies {8}^{x}  = 56 \times  \frac{8}{7}

 \sf \implies {8}^{x}  =  {8}^{2}

Comparing base, we get,

 \sf  \implies x = 2

^(X+1 )=64.

8^(X+1)=

8^2.

Since bases are equal,

Powers are also equal.

X+1=2.

X=1.

Now,.

3^(2X+1)

=3^(2(1)+1).
