Dear student;
2H2 + O2 ⇒ 2H2O
4g 32g 36g
80g 80g ?
∵4 g H2 requiresO2 = 32g
∴ 80 g H2 will require O2 =640 g, but available O2 is only 80 g .Thus limiting reagent is O2.
Now,
∵32g O2 gives water = 36g
∴80g O2 will give water = 90g
thus mass of water obtained is 90g.
