Mass of all the wagons together = 2000(5)

                                                      = 10000 kg

35000 = 10000(a)

Net acceleration = 3.5 m/s²

Force applied by wagon 1 on wagon 2 =

as there as 3 more wagons behind wagon 2, we need to add all their masses as well

F = ma
