Answer:

Chemical reaction

2H2+o2=2H2O

For this we have to find Limiting reagent i.e L.r.

limiting reagent= number of moles/stoichiometric coffecient.

For H2 L.r

limiting reagent =80/2/2 =40/2=20.

For O2 L.r

limiting reagent=80/32/1=2.5/1=2.5

so O2 is limiting reagent because its value is less and it will be fully consumed.

normally 32grams of O2 gives 36 grams of water.

Now solving

32grams of O2=36 grams of water

80grams of O2=36*80/32

=2880/32= 90 grams of water.

so, 80grams of oxygen gives 90 grams of water and oxygen is limiting reagent.

Answer: H2o (90gm).

Explanation: M.W OF O2 = 32GM

M.W OF O2=2GM

MOLES OF H2=80/2=40

MOLES OF O2=80/32=2.5
