\large\bold{To~find:}

Value of K, in the equation:

\large\mathtt{~~~~~~~~~8^{2}+K^{2}=17^{2}}

\large\implies\mathtt{64+K^{2}=289}

\large\implies\mathtt{K^{2}=289-64}

\large\implies\mathtt{K^{2}=225}

\large\implies\mathtt{K={\sqrt{225}}}

\large\implies\mathtt{K={\underline{\underline{15}}}}
