864 is divided among A,B and C such that 8 times A's shear is equal to 12 times B's share and also equal to 6 times C's share. how much did B get ?

Solution:-

Given,

8A = 12 B= 6C

LCM of 8, 12 and 6 = 24

=> 8A/ 24 = 12B/ 24 = 6C\ 24

=> A/3 = B/2 = C/ 4

=> A:B:C = 3:2:4

B's share = 2/ 3+2+4 × 864

=> 2/9 × 864

=> 192 Rs.

B's Share is 192 RS .
