Hi friend here is your answer.

######################

Ans is 40.

In the sequence we have to sum the digits except the first one.

Example-- 02,12,?,132,342,870

2=2

1+2=3

4+0=4

3+2=5

4+2=6

7+0=7

870 =  {29}^{2}  + 29 \\ 342 =  {18}^{2}  + 18 \\ 132 =  {11}^{2}  + 11 \\  42 =  {6}^{2}  + 6 \\ 12 =  {3}^{2}  + 3 \\ 1 =  {1}^{2}  + 1 \\ missing \: term \: is \: 42 \:  \\ difference \: in \: terms \: are  \\ \: prime \: number \: 29 - 18 = 11 \\ 18 - 11 = 7 \\ 11 - 6 = 5 \\ 6 - 3 = 3 \\ 3 - 1 = 2
