p(x) = 8x^3 + 4x - 12

g(x) = x-1

By remainder therorem we have,

Zeroes of g(x) is x-1=0 and x = 1

p(1) = 8(1) ^3+4(1) -12

= 8+4-12

= 0 is remainder

And it is a factor of 8x^3 + 4x - 12 as long

Hope it helps u✌
