for commaning  y we have to multiply 9ii) equation by 4

after multiplying

   12x+4y=10

we have

putting  x in  ( ii)  equation

-70*3/4  +  y  =10

-210/4 + y = 10

y = 10 + 210/4

y = (400+210) /4

y = 610 / 4
