By The Formula of Quadratic Equation

  \frac{ - b   \frac{ + }{}  \sqrt{  {b}^{2}  + 4ac}} {2a}

  \frac{ - 12  \frac{ + }{} \sqrt{ {12}^{2} + 4 \times 8 \times ( - 7) } }{2 \times 8}

 \frac{ - 12 \frac{ + }{}  \sqrt{144  - 224}   }{16}

  \frac{ - 12  \frac{ + }{}  \sqrt{ - 80}  }{16}

 \frac{ - 12 \frac{ + }{} 4 \sqrt{5} }{16}

Consequently, The Roots of Quadrilateral Equation are

 \frac{ - 12 +4 \sqrt{5}  }{16}   \\  \frac{ - 12 - 4 \sqrt{5} }{16}

Done :)
