when the projectile hitting the ground by making an angle 45º with horizontal,

its vertical component velocity uv and horizontal component velocity uh are same because (uv / uh ) = tan45.

vertical component uv is velocity gained in 4s in gravitational field, hence uv = 4g because

initial value of vertical component velocity is zero.

Since horizontal component uh is unaffected by gravity, velocity of projection is 4g or 39.2 m/s
