Answer :

  • 392 km.

Given :

  • Speed and Time.

To find :

  • The distance covered by the car in 7 hours.

Note :

  • When speed and time are given, the distance travelled is calculated by using the formula: D = S × T.

Using Formula :

  • Speed × Time = Distance.

Solution :

Distance covered in 1 hour = 56 km.

We know, Distance = Speed × Time

Distance covered in 7 hrs :

  • = 56 × 7
  • = 392 km.

Therefore, distance covered in 7 hrs = 392 km.

More to know :

  • The formula of counting speed is speed = distance / time.

You need to know the units for distance and time to work out what the units are of speed

  • The formula of counting time is time = distance / speed.

Which means time equals distance divided by speed.
