The chemical hormone is insulin
2 chemical communication is better way of communcaition and faster also and its achieved by chemical messengers called hormones
insulin is produced by pancreas gland
the digestive enzymes are trypsin which is secreted by pancreas and convert protein into polypetide and lipase is another enzyme which is also produce by pancreatic and help in digestion of fats.

Hey Friend,
Ф The hormone released into the blood when there is extra glucose or sugar in the blood is INSULIN.
Ф The organ which produces this hormone is the PANCREAS. The endocrine part of pancreas secretes insulin.
Ф Insulin stimulates the conversion of extra glucose or sugar from the blood into glycogen and stores it in liver and muscles.
Ф Pancreas secrete pancreatic juice which contains these three enzymes...
1. Trypsin - It acts on PROTEIN and breaks them down into simpler molecules.
2. Lipase - It acts on FATS and breaks them down into simpler molecules.
3. Amylase - It acts on STARCH and breaks them down into simpler molecules.
Ф Need for chemical coordination in multicellular organisms

In animals, the messages are communicated in the form of nerve impulses quickly. But still, there are some limitations to the nervous system.
Nerve impulses can reach only those cells which are connected by the nervous tissues. And the cells connected by nervous tissues, after generation and transmission of the impulse, take some time to rest before the generation and transmission of new impulse.
In simple words, cells cannot continuously generate and transmit nerve impulses. This is the reason why most multicellular organisms use another form of control and coordination, named chemical coordination.
The advantage of chemical coordination is that the information spreads out throughout the body by blood (then the required part picks it up...as per its requirement) and the effect generally lasts longer.
Hope it helps!
