9. A race track is in the form of a ring whose inner circumference is 528 m and the outer

Solution:

  • According to the Question, Given a track is in the form of ring whose inner and outer Circumference is 528m and 616m so now ,

As we know that formula :

2 πr

Given:

  • A track is in the form of a ring whose inner circumference is 528m

Then,

⟶ 2πr = 528

⟶ πr = 528 / 2

⟶ πr = 264

⟶ r = 264 × 7/22

⟶ r = 12 × 7

⟶ r = 84

Given:

  • A track is in the form of a ring whose outer circumference is 616 m

⟶ 2πr = 616

⟶ πr = 616 / 2

⟶ πr = 308

⟶ r = 308 × 7/22

⟶ r = 14 x 7

⟶ r = 98

Now we have to find the width of the track :

  • width of the track = circumference of outer - inner

⟶ = 98 - 84
