ayushi lost 5 marbles in 8 games

Total no.of marbles lost = 5×8 = 40....(1)

ayushi gained 4 marbles in 4 games

total no.of marbles gained = 4×4 = 16.(2)

now, from (1),(2),

no.of marbles gained < no.of marbles lost

therefore no of marbles lost in 8 games = 40-16 =24

total no.of marbles with ayushi at present = 60-24 = 36
