Let the ratio be x

So, A:B:C = 1:3:4 = x:3x:4x

Here, we have to divide 5600 between A, B and C

So, A + B + C = 5600

x + 3x + 4x = 5600

8x = 5600

x = 5600/8

x = 700

Hence, A = x = 700

B = 3x = 2100

C =  4x = 2800
