Budding is a asexual mode of reproduction in organisms such as yeasts and hydra. In this process a new organism develops from an outgrowth due to cell division at one particular site. The small bulb-like projection coming out is called a bud.

Then nucleus of the parent cell splits into a daughter nucleus and migrates into the daughter cell.
