here lets see that if u take a metal rod and put it on a naked flame it would heat accordingto the kinetic theory of heat u can see that when the rod is on direct heat the atons start getting super excited and in this excitement they push their neighbours as the solid is densely packed and hence according to yhe definition of heat it is defined nothing but excited particles so as more n more atoms vibrate the heat passes on to the next thus reachin ur ✋

When the gas is cooled the kinetic energy of the molecules decreases
so the intermolecular force also decreases
the molecules come closer
they come so closer thet they cannot leave their places
gases change to liquids...
